Can I print and fax documents with my logo(s) directly from my computer using Fontgoz?

Yes. That’s exactly what Fontgoz is designed to do.

Can I use Fontgoz to add logos to my email messages?

Yes, but only if recipients have your custom Fontgoz font installed on their computers. Software fonts are “local” — available on a computer only if they have been installed. While a set of standard fonts (such as Times New Roman and Verdana) is generally installed on computers to make them available to everyone, Fontgoz is a custom font that may be installed on multiple users’ computers. For example, you may want to install Fontgoz on all computers in your corporate office.

If you add logos to email messages with Fontgoz, recipients who do not have the same custom Fontgoz font installed on their computers will see instead only Roman characters (letter, number, etc.) from a font that is installed on their computers.

It is possible to add logos to email messages by pasting them as graphics. If you require a logo graphic, we can provide one (upon request) derived from a logo in your Fontgoz font. If you have a vector graphic program (such as Adobe Illustrator), you can use your Fontgoz font to create a logo graphic by selecting the font, striking the appropriate key to enter the logo, converting the logo to an outline and saving it as a JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc. file.

Can I share documents to which I have used Fontgoz to add my logos?

Yes, as long as you have saved them with your Fontgoz logo(s) embedded.

Some, but not all, computer applications (programs) provide the option to save files with fonts embedded. This makes it possible to share documents containing logos (including via email) with recipients whose computers do not have your Fontgoz font installed.

The Fontgoz User Manual discusses font embedding in greater detail.

Will my Fontgoz logo(s) be secure if I share documents?

Yes, as long as (1) you have not saved them with your logo(s) embedded, recipients whose computers do not have your Fontgoz font installed will see instead only Roman characters (letter, number, etc.) from a font that is installed on their computers and (2) you protect your logo(s) by not sharing your Fontgoz font itself.

Can I order a custom logo font that contains my “handwritten” signature(s)?

Yes. While all Fontgoz fonts have at least one logo, they may also have one or more signatures.

A font’s “characters” (letters, numbers, punctuation marks, symbols, etc.) are called “glyphs,” which are actually graphic images. Logos, signatures or other graphics may also be placed in fonts.

Fontgoz fonts are priced according to the number of glyphs they have, whether they have only logos or a combination of logos and signatures. For example, a Fontgoz font with one logo and one signature costs the same as a font with two logos.
