Important Fontgoz Purchasing Information…

  • You may submit your original logo(s) to us as:
    • Digital vector graphics (e.g., EPS, Illustrator, FreeHand, etc.)
    • Printed copies
    • A combination of both
  • When we receive your original logos, we render them as monochrome vector graphic glyphs, tweak them to make sure they look just right and then incorporate them into a custom TrueType font. Standard software font formats, including TrueType (the format we use for Fontgoz), do not permit built–in glyph (i.e., character, letter, number, logo, etc.) colors, so that all glyphs are monochrome. Therefore, before creating a Fontgoz font, we need to render all of the logos it will contain as monochrome glyphs. The transformation to monochrome retains the logo’s identity and recognition value. Of course, Fontgoz logos may be printed in any color with a color printer.
  • Before delivering Fontgoz orders, we test them to our exacting standards by critically comparing all originally supplied logos to the corresponding logos printed from Fontgoz.
